UNISSA delegation visited Makhachkala and Grozny

On 10-16 February 2020 the delegation of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) comprising Dr. Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector, and Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, Director of Public Relations and International Centre, was on a visit to Russia. The programme of their visit to the Republic of Dagestan included meetings with the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Dagestan Sheikh Ahmad Afandi Abdulaev and his deputies, the Minister of National Policies and Religious Affairs of Dagestan Mr. Enrik Muslimov and the Acting Rector of Dagestan Institute of Humanities Mr. Magomed Gadzhidadayev, as well as signing the MoU between of Dagestan Institute of Humanities and UNISSA. During their trip to the Chechen Republic the Bruneian delegation met with the Grand Mufti of the Chechen Republic Sheikh Salah Mezhiev and the Rector of Kunta-Haji Russian Islamic University (RIU) Mr. Abdurahim Mutushev; the MoU between RIU and UNISSA was signed.
