On the visit of the delegation of the Russia Muftis Council

On 24-28 September a delegation of the Russia Muftis Council (RMC) headed by its Deputy Chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov visited Brunei. Representatives of RMC held meetings with Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports - Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr. Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, Rector of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) Yang Mulia Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Vice-Chancellor of University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Yang Mulia Datin Dr Dayang Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz.

The Head of the Delegation gave a lecture on Islam in Russia and answered the questions from the students of UBD and UNISSA, visited Islamic educational organizations of Brunei, and opened a two-months photo exhibition “Traditions of Islam in Russia”.
